CROSSRC EMO XX Ultra 4x4 and XXL Ultra 6x6: 1/6-Scale RC Crawlers

Choose the EMO XX Ultra Sword Dragon for a four-wheel-drive build, or the EMO XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon for a three-axle six-wheel-drive truck. Both use the Ultra platform’s 2 mm stamped steel frame, 26 mm CNC hydraulic shocks, 10 mm aluminum suspension links and pre-assembled polycarbonate body.

These large-scale crawlers suit hobbyists choosing a specific drivetrain and electronics package, rather than shopping by appearance alone. Select 4x4 or 6x6 first, then ARTR or RTR Brushless, followed by ROCK TIRES or MUD TIRES and your battery-and-charger choice.

4x4 or 6x6

EMO XX Ultra Sword Dragon is the 4x4 model and lists an ABS rally-style rear cargo box. EMO XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon is the 6x6 model. Both share the listed Ultra chassis and suspension components; select the drivetrain that matches your planned build.

ARTR or RTR Brushless

ARTR includes the pre-assembled vehicle, transmission and differential servos, and model-specific tools. Motor, ESC, steering servo, transmitter and receiver are excluded. RTR Brushless supplies the listed Hobbywing 4985 1650KV motor, 150A ESC, 70KG steering servo, three 25KG control servos, DumboRC X6 radio equipment, LED lighting and tools.

Rock tires or mud tires

ROCK TIRES and MUD TIRES are selectable options for both models and electronics configurations. Choose the tread type for your intended terrain; the selection does not change ARTR into RTR.

Battery and charger

Choose Included or Not included under Battery+Chargers independently of the model, electronics and tires. Included selects the battery-and-charger bundle, while Not included excludes both. The existing description does not identify the bundle’s battery capacity, voltage, connector or charger model, so confirm those details before ordering. Adding the bundle to ARTR does not supply its missing electronics.

The listed ESC voltage range is 3S–6S LiPo. The previous specification also lists 3S, 4S, 5S and 6S configurations and supported series combinations. Use only configurations approved for the complete installed system and instructions; verify wiring, connector and pack fit within the 160 × 80 × 55 mm compartment before use.

* The original nylon driveshaft is upgraded to a CNC-machined all-metal driveshaft for increased rigidity and improved resistance to high-torque loads.

UPGRADED TRANSMISSION PINS WITH SPECIAL MATERIALS:

The transmission pins use specially reinforced materials to balance strength and toughness under drivetrain loads. Inspect them during routine maintenance; reinforced components are not a guarantee against damage.

UPGRADED SERVO SAVER AND STEERING LINKAGE:

The upgraded servo saver and buffer linkage help relieve steering loads when the wheels encounter resistance. Check steering endpoints and linkage movement during setup.

METAL BULL BAR, BUMPER GUARD AND SPOTLIGHTS:

The metal bull bar and bumper guard carry integrated spotlights, combining a scale front-end detail with lighting for trail use.

METAL ROLL CAGE:

The metal roll cage provides a protective structure and is described as a handling point for transport. It does not make the vehicle immune to rollover damage.

EXTENDED WHEELBASE:

The EMO XX Ultra platform features a 55 mm extended wheelbase, improving the overall stance and providing additional stability for off-road driving.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION:

* The 1/6-scale platform uses a 2 mm stamped steel simulation frame combined with 10 mm aluminum chassis links and a steel rear stabilizer link.

* The suspension uses large 26 mm CNC hydraulic shocks with adjustable spring preload. The front axle uses a steel CVD universal axle, while the rear uses a steel straight axle.

* The drivetrain features a 63T nylon silent spur gear, full steel transmission gears and full steel bevel gears. ABEC3 high-speed bearings are used throughout the drivetrain.

* The vehicles use nylon clamping wheel hubs and large-scale off-road tires designed for crawling and trail driving.

What is the difference between XX Ultra and XXL Ultra?

XX Ultra Sword Dragon is the 1/6-scale 4x4 model; XXL Ultra Thunder Dragon is the 1/6-scale 6x6 model with three driven axles. Both share the listed Ultra chassis and suspension features.

What does ARTR exclude?

Motor, ESC, steering servo, transmitter and receiver are excluded. Transmission and differential servos and model-specific tools are included with the pre-assembled vehicle. Battery and charger are a separate bundle selection.

Which motor comes with RTR Brushless?

The listed RTR setup uses a Hobbywing 4985 1650KV brushless motor and Hobbywing 150A ESC, with a 70KG 7.4V steering servo and three 25KG 7.4V transmission and differential servos.
