Gasoline RC cars(like ROFUN BAHA series) use regular unleaded petrol mixed with 2-stroke oil and feature large 30CC–71CC engines — typically 1/5 scale.Nitro RC cars(like HSP series) use nitro fuel (methanol-based) with smaller engines — typically 1/8 or 1/10 scale. Gasoline models are larger, more powerful, and cheaper to run. Nitro models are more compact and have a higher-pitched engine sound preferred by traditional RC enthusiasts.
ROFUN and FS Racing gasoline RC cars useregular unleaded petrol mixed with 2-stroke engine oilat a 25:1 or 30:1 ratio. HSP nitro RC cars usenitro fuel(typically 16%–25% nitromethane content). Never use diesel or ethanol-blended fuel in gasoline RC cars.

HSP nitro RC cars require engine tuning, glow plug maintenance, and nitro fuel management — making them better suited for hobbyists with some RC experience. If you're completely new to RC cars, we recommend starting with an electric model before moving to nitro or gasoline-powered vehicles.
ROFUN and FS Racing models are1/5 scale— measuring 70–90cm in length and weighing 10–18kg. HSP nitro models are1/10 scale— more compact at around 40–45cm in length, making them easier to transport and store.
More than electric RC cars, yes. Regular maintenance includesair filter cleaning,carburetor adjustment,glow plug replacement(nitro),fuel line inspection, andchassis cleaningafter each run. However, gasoline engines are generally more durable and easier to repair than electric systems at this scale.
